Am I going to recover?

Its been going on for 2 mounths now. This extreme depression. my sadness. Everything. Its caused by the fact that I dont have any friends at my new school and nobody at my old school wants to talk to me anymore. Also it is quite obvious that not a lot of people like Linkin Park and Ricky Ullman like I do. Its also obvious that these things will never get better. So I will never recover.

Answer #1

stop thinking about those things! think positive! Everyone has been through that before! I love Linkin Park and Ricky Ullman! I’ll definitely be your friend. I’m sure if you tried to actually talk to someone in your new school, they’ll make friends with you! If people don’t want to be friends with you as in actually saying they don’t like you, they seriously have brain problems. Don’t creep back into your shell! this is a new school. make a new start! you’ve got a new reputation set up for you! this is totally your chance. don’t back away from it. you’ve got to stand up for yourself. if you don’t, maybe that would be why everyone’s avoiding you. BE HAPPY and STAY STRONG!

I know everyone likes to try to fit in. But there are people who are proud to be unique individuals too. Why don’t you be yourself, and stop the self-pity that no one likes you.

Be confident with yourself and your interests, and soon people will want to be your friend.

Besides, there are A LOT of people in the world WAY WORSE OFF than you, those who barely survive every day, and yet you’re complaining that no one wants to be your friend in school. And speaking of which, you can make friends outside of school too. People with Myspace in your area, people who work in the shops near you.

Or you can try joining some clubs in school that interests you, or just a social club, to start making friends. You can make the change today.

Answer #3

Because people dont like the same music as you do you will never make friends? First of all, it isnt true people dont like the same music you do or Linkin park wouldnt be as popular as it is… (and it is, otherwise I wouldnt have heard of them…) Secondly, one has nothing to do with the other, and a tiny little rational part of your brain knows that… you just have to access the part of your brain that realizes you dont need to have the same taste in music to be friends with someone… Now, just because people at your old school dont want to talk to you (and I’m skeptical about that) doesnt mean you wont make friends. I agree with the attitude of “I will never make friends”, you are probably right… you wont… You just have to believe that it’s a new start and anything can happen… you’ve made friends before, so it is possible to make friends again…

I think you should talk to a counselor, a nurse or a doctor, professional help might get you through this… (look, depression is an illness, and there is nothing wrong with getting help when you have an illness!

hey, girl, you know I like Linkin Park, so why you worried? it’d be cool if we lived in the same neighborhood; we’d be partying all night! anyway, you got a good friend on here; me (Mike’s girl; I wish). see ya soon! :) stay happy; Ricky would want that.

Answer #5

They will get better. PRAY. I’ll be your friend. Try making a close friend and introduce yourself to others close to that person. Then hang around with others after that with your new friends. You’ll make friends. It will go away.

Answer #6

Look, only you can make the change. You put yourself in that hole and it is hard to climb out of it. I had so many friends and family pull the trigger (and other things) However I have to been in that hole. You make your life what you want it to be, Listen High school is just a phase in your life it is much different when you make a living for yourself and put your own roof over your head and food on your table. YOU will be ok. Kick yourself in the a** and do something you like. if you like that music then who cares, listen to it. do stuff that makes you happy..With out hurting anyone else.

Answer #7

it’s called puberty and raging hormones. don’t worry, you’ll live. it’s not a fun time for anyone now. just be glad you don’t have bills to pay and kids to take care of. seriously, it’ll be alright. just weather through it. take up a hobby or talk to friends (about something other than how depressed you are) to take your mind off of things. take care
