Are we allowed to write banned words with numbers etc where letters would go?

Sometimes when answering a question, I want to write a word but it’s banned. I don’t think I’m using it in the manner that most probably got it banned, though, still I just thought I’d check. So are we allowed to put numbers in words to make them pass through the filter?

It’s not something we encourage, but, it’s not something we can really stop at this point.

It’s also a question of intent…if it’s simply to answer a question, fine..if it’s an attempt at inserting foul language, insults, etc, into a discussion, then clearly it’s not ok :)

That’s what I assumed. I’d never use bad lanuage on this site. It just sometimes pops up when answering a question. Thanks for the answer.

i do it. sometimes its just really necessary to answer a question correctly
