Do you consider cheerleading a sport. One day in gym class my friend was saying how cheerleading wasnt a sport. She was saying that if it was a sport then it would b on espn. But it is and she denied it. Wht is your opinion on it? I think it is. We work just as hard as any other sport. Even harder.
I say it is!! I think any sport you compete in is a sport! But I think differently of the cheerleading team at my school. THEY SUCK! Lol. They can't do anything really. They just clap there hands and say a bunch of rhyming words. But I think that if you compete in something and put your time into it than yeah, it's a sport.
Hell yeah it's a sport. We have to run, jump, kick, tumble, stunt, and stretch. We all have to stay in shape and look good doing it. So I'd say it's a sport. Ask anyone that isn't a cheerleader if they can do 50 toetouches and do the splits. Becha they can't.
lol I agree with magpie. it looks hard. not just anyone could do it including me! I bet id suck! lol
I agree it a sport if you are competing, if your just cheering guys on its not a sport
