Because you feel as if you aren't good enough. How can someone overcome this feeling??
Being in a relationship is not as peachy as we may want it to be all the time...if you are afraid that you arent worth it then others will feel that same way. It's entirely up to you to be whom you are & if they cant love & respect you for whom you are, no questions asked...then they just arent worthy of you! You should never try to be the perfect person they expect you to be, for in relationships there is no such thing as perfect! We all have our ups & downs & when you truly find that special person who will accept all of the qualities in you and laugh at your flaws, that is when you will overcome your fear! You are 17 right now, you have your whole life to meet new & interesting people along the way...dont limit yourself to just being with one person just yet...go out & have fun...when you are ready to settle down then worry about having a real meaningful relationship! ♥
This is not a very good feeling to feel :/ feeling like your not good enough kind of displeases people sometimes it can be a turn off for some people you have to have atleast a little bit of confidence...You are beautiful you should never feel that way everyone was made beautiful there is something special inside everyone...Noone is better than anyone we were all made equal....Maybe you need to love yourself a little more...have you ever heard that quote how can you expect someone to love you when you don't even love yourself....don't be your own bully know that you have one person out there who will never leave your side.... Just know that someone will like you for who you are. When that someone comes into your life they will totally help you overcome this feeling. They will always be telling you how wonderful you are, how pretty you are, and how lucky they are to have you. This is the ultimate self esteem booster. I used to feel like that as well, but ever since I found my special someone that has changed. :)
At 17, you have a lot of inner growth to experience. Once out of highschool your world will take on a whole new atmosphere. The things you end up doing...work, furthering school, meeting new friends, etc... The feeling of being "worthy" of a relationship may very well be a by product of your new and changing life.

If you are in a relationship with someone who loves you, for you, you won't feel like that, and that connection and love is a constant reassurance that your obviously good enough for your partner..remember nobodys perfect, but thats what makes you, you!
tbh hel prob love you even more if you be yourself and dont care what everyone else thinks about your flaws..it will show you have more of a personality and your not boring and your not afraid to show your inner self
