Is it possible for an Advisor to become a regular user again for whatever reason after a while?

Answer #1

Haven’t seen that happen, I would assume that you would have to break a serious rule but that would probably lead to you being disabled.

Answer #2

Yes, I was an advisor about 3 1/2 years ago. I stopped logging in as I was out of the country and I came back and I was back to a regular user.

Answer #3

Yes, it’s possible.

If an advisor isn’t being a good advisor, they can be demoted. Of course, they would be given a few chances to straighten up first, before being demoted. If they do something really bad, that violates the ToU…they will be banned because they (of all users) should know better.

Also, I’m sure if an advisor asked to be demoted…they could be. I don’t see why they would want to, but…

Answer #4

The only time I’ve seen this happen in 3 years is when someone was underage and they let the admin know later on. Unless there’s some sort of serious violation of the rule it is unusual.
