any advice on helping my poodle through delivery...in ten days!!
You should stay with her through the process. Be prepared. You will notice her becoming very uncomfortable, then panting and shivering. This could go on for hours. When she is ready to deliver she will begin digging to make a nest. Offer her water, I use baby food and broth to offer my girls since they often do not want to eat or drink. When the babies start coming she will need something to keep her strength up. The first pup will usually be the hardest for her to pass. Comfort her and watch the pups passage. Sometimes they need a little help. It is a long and tiring process for you and your girl!!
