Why do he act like he likes my friend if he has a girlfriend?
Hey evryone so my friend aliyah was telling me how this guy in her class is always acting likes he likes her but he has a girlfriend. She said that he always want to do classprojects and class assignments with her.(he literally comes to sit by her and does classwork with her). She tells me that he jumps up and has a huge smile on his face when she walks in and smiles. He is always asking her questions about her interests and is always bragging to others about. Onetime during softball practice I overheard him Talking to one of his friends on the bleachers and was bragging about how smart aliyah was. He is always telling everyone how smart she is and how fast she is in running. Aliyah says he is always encouraging her to do her best and never doubt herself. The thing is, he has a girlfriend and I dont know what to tell her. I dont know why he displays this behavior if he has a girlfriend. Do you guys think he likes her. why is he doing this?
The fact that he has a girlfriend does not mean that he cannot have other friends as well:
even if, perish the thought, they should happen to be other girls.
When he matures enough to live outside the catty environment of middle school, it will stand him in good stead to be able to cooperate with both genders and give praise where praise is due.
Anyhow, yes, I think he likes he - just as much as he likes his other mates, who he no doubt also helps, studies with, and occasionally “brags about”.
