I used to feel the same way when i was a teenager. I am naturally pale and i do not tan at all - all i do is burn and turn white again. One day i just had enough of it and decided having pale skin is the least of my worries and alot of people find it attractive. My husband LOVES my pale skin tone and calls me his porclain doll. Just own it and flaunt it and who cares what anyone else says. Your less likely to get skin cancer, will have less wrinkles, will have softer skin, and pale is beautiful.

I WISH I were more pale. I am asian and I have a yellowish tint to my skin, but any little bit of sun I get I tan quick. And I stay tan for ever… I wear 90SpF somedays just so I can try to keep my skin from getting too tan so i can be pale in winter. Just accept who you are and the fact there isnt much to do about it. In victorian era those who had pale skin were considered high class or royalty. Those who were tan were considered hard feild workers. Thats why so many of the rich ended up dying… the used Led in there paint to be white. They died to be pale… they died because it was pretty. You are lucky.

You’ve already taken the BIG first step: realizing that you’re perfectly fine as you are and don’t need to struggle to change yourself just because a few other fools say something stupid to you. There are a whole lot more people in your life who never say anything disparaging about your skin. I wonder, too, if some of the people who comment on how pale you are mean it as a compliment (or out of envy), like Chloe.

Would you “hate” skin of the same color on someone else? My guess is, not. Look around you - or in the celeb media, if you like - for other pale people. It may be easier at the beginning to admire their beauty, and then let it carry over to yours.

Think of some good things to say to yourself about it, or pleasant associations, too. Pale like shimimering moonlight.

Answer #10

You could always tan? just make sure you use tanning lotion as you could get cancer or a sunburn over time. NEVER use a tanning bed or spray tan, those are really awful looking and bad for your epidermis health.

Answer #11

i’m very pale myself. i used to despise it when i was younger as well. sure having a nice tan is nice. but personally i like how pale i am. i think its a natural beauty, and some people don’t have it so i find it a little unique. :) but really, ignore other people and their comments, everyone is always going to have to say something that will bring you down. honestly, they’re probably jealous because of your natural beauty. i hope i helped hun. :)

Answer #12

Answer #13

just except it GOD does

Answer #14

Being tan is over-rated. My great grandmother always told me that milky white skin is the most prettiest. I still believe that to be true. Plus, tanning can be bad for your skin.
