I have a bump on my vagina and I don’t know what it is… I know it’s not an std because I’m still a virgin. It’s skin color, about the size of a pimple, and it doesn’t hurt. I do shave down there and I know it’s not an ingrown hair because I’ve had some, but I’m looking for a women to answer this because I’m not sure what it could be. My mom and I aren’t really close… So I haven’t brought it up to her… I think it would be awkward. I really don’t want to go to the doc. About it either… I’ve had it for almost a month now and it hasn’t gone away… Could you maybe give me some advice please? Thank you…

it may just be razorburn. or like she said above it could be some kind of mole and you may have either jsut never noticed it. thats really all the advice I can offer you. sorry

First off, good for you for being a virgin!! rock on!

In answer to your question: It could be a flesh-colored mole. I actually have 3 down around my vagina; I went to the doctor worrying about STDs and so I know for sure what they are. I also shave down there and she said it was fine to do so, but if ever it started hurting, I’d probably have to get them removed.

You shouldn’t worry about going to the doctor, though. Your doctor is one of your best friends! And you should tell your mother. If you are a virgin, you have nothing to be ashamed of. True, it may be awkward, but you’ll feel a lot of relief. I’m 26 and still not close with my mother, but I always feel better when I ask her stuff (even embarrassing things).
