i dont understand it... it seems that only liquid will only go down... why is this? i am concerned.
There is a difference between common morning sickness and the inability to hold anything down. A woman should experience nausea and the odd spell of vomiting, but if she can hold nothing down, then she is missing out on giving the baby some very important vitamins in that first trimester. when baby's development needs it the most This does require a visit to the doctor - they can prescribe her a pregnancy-safe anti-nauseant. I went through the same thing with my second pregnancy.
At 7 weeks of pregnancy, if she hasn't ALREADY been to the doctor before this issue came up...she's doing her baby a serious disservice.
What you should be worried about is why she's not already been taking proper care even BEFORE the nausea became an issue. Is she underage or something? If so, tell her parents.
lol nah... she honestly had no idea, it was kinda one of those i may be pregnant, ill check... uh oh.. i am... doctor time... oh im 7 weeks along wow i didnt know.... and my guess is that is hasnt started since the very first day.. but yeah i do understand the situation... and thanks for the help
She needs to go in asap, forget about the baby, she could end up dying... a lady i know landed in the hospital with serious organ failure because she was pregnant and couldnt keep anything down and became seriously dehydrated (her genius of a family never thought to take her to the doctor).
It's not exactly normal, and it's actually something to be very concerned about. If she can't keep anything down, the baby isn't getting any nutrition or vitamins, which is very serious. She needs to go to the doctor as soon as possible, or she is risking her babies life.
Wow I didn't know they cud give u something fornausea when ur pregnanat, my doc never mention that, she said as long as I wasn't loseing weight I wud be ok. Well I will keep that info bout the nausea pills dureing pregnancy, thx for the info on that :-)
Well its pretty normal, I was vomiteing throughout my whole pregnany, have ur friend try some toast, or cracker, or maybe even chicken soup, I mean like original campbell's soup, and no need to worry unless she is loseing weight
during the second month of my pregnancy I ended up in the hospital because I couldn't keep anything down. I was so bad that when my boyfriend ate I would get sick.
