I'm 25 years old and have been with my boyfriend for 9 years and we recently found out we are soon going to become parents I'm so excited and happy but at the same time I am absolutley petrified. I've heard terrible things about giving birth, does anyone know some things they give you that can help to ease the pain. I know it wont make the pain go away but anything that helps you to deal with the pain? Also has anyone had a caesareon and what is the healing process and pros and cons of it, also will you be left with a massive scar for life? any help would be fab, thank you :) x
The pain is worth it but I couldnt deal with it... I had to get a eppideral which was the best thing I EVER had! if it does get bad just get the eppideral just don wait to late or you wont be able to get it.. and c section you will have a scar but thats ok and it doesnt heal as fast as it would with natural.. my sister had a C section and sometimes she couldnt stand during the healing process cus it hurt so much. in the natural your just bleeding for a good 2 or 3 weeks... well at least I was... you may be different. Dont be scared!
I had a c-section the healing time for me was crazy long I also had complications that landed me in a whole totally different hospital then my son who had to stay in the hospital due to e.coli...as far as the scar its not like the old days when that cut you down the middle of your belly its on your bikini in and no one will ever see it other than you and your boyfriend..so goodluck and congrats o love babys
I know your afraid of the pain, but that pain is worth it once you see that baby and when your holding him/her for the first time, you and your partner seem ready for this baby the pain DOESNT last forever and im pretty sure you can handle it dont underestimate yourself plus the docotors will ask if you want medicine to help numb you, from, your waist down goodluck(: and congrats!
