How can I be a mom to them?

I’m 17 and in 11th grade, and having TWINS..

When I told my parents they were like "oh sweetie what have you done!!!"{joyfully}.. I was like WOW!! and I was shocked.. They have always been tough on me..

I’m having a boy and a girl so my parents redid our guestroom and home office into a girl and boy nursery… I have 8 1/2 months along and I’m afraid that I will not be able to be a mother and that they are going to do everything and just tell me to go hang out with my friends and they will take care of them, I wanna be a mom to them!!

*what do I do?!? PleAse help;)

Answer #1

it will come natural..your parents will want to help and you should accept the help from them because they have experience but dont worry sweetheart it will be fine its just a learning experience just like everything else in life

Answer #2

the only thing you have to do is try your best. of cource your parents are going to want to help. your going to need it. just dont give them up. if there 17 and with no mom its your fault to blame. you have to be a good and loving mother.

Answer #3

your instincts will kick in as soon as you have them trust me!

my best friend was the most irresponsible person in the world before she got pregnant.

but now she is the best mom in the world.

if she could do it you can.

and she did it without the support of her parents.

Answer #4

Well there isnt a handbook to parenting. It all comes down to the person that you really are. Im not a parent not even close but even the fact that your worried that you wont be the mother you should be tells me that your going to be a wonderful mommy! I hope you have healthy babies and a great birth!

lucky you havin a boy and a girl haha well da reason they might be doin diz iz because they want you to live your life as a normal teenage girl witout carryin da burden of bein pregnant and havin to raise kids so I suggest you tell them that you wanna take responsibility to bein a parent as well instead of them doin it for you and they could just help you on things you dont know or just giv advice so yea just talk to em and tell em what you wanna do because it your children not ders
