Hi! I have the same problem, I am also 17, and considered obese. I also have a lot of muscles different areas of my body because of weight training for track & field. The only thing I can tell you to do is try to drink nothing but water, every once in a while, treat yourself to a soda; but, absolutely NO DARK SODAS. If you could make a little time(maybe 20 minutes) after you get off from work, do a cardio workout. The stores are filled with DVD’s that help with trouble areas that you are trying to lose weight in, most of them are in fact cardio. Eat healthy food. Don’t eat a lot of fast food of course, when you began to see results, you might want to celebrate by buying some fastfood…but don’t get too carried away.lol. Buy a meal from one place and enjoy it. I’ve been doing this since the last week in May; so far, I’ve a little over ten pounds(Not bragging). You could try this method, or you might find another, regardless, I would love if you keep me posted:)

                     ~GOOD LUCK!!!;)~

ok, all movement counts, but to lose weight and actually cut proactive calories, you need to break a heavy sweat. the kind that makes your hair and sports bra wet to the touch sister!!! other wise excersise is wasted time to me unless you break a heavy sweat.

Thanks..I cant really do much more moving haha =] I walk EVERYWHERE I do 12hour shifts 2days a week and 9hour shifts 5days a week which involves runningn around after customers! Plus im on my feet all day as a beautician and I eat very little as it is as I dont get time haha!

If losing weight was easy then we would all be a size 2!

You can only lose so much weight by cutting calories. At some point you need to get moving. You can start out slowly, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking farther out in the parking lot, things like that.

I was in an accident and being laid up caused me to gain a lot of weight. Ok, being laid up and eating a lot of M&M’s caused me to gain weight, lol I have cut my calories and lost a lot of the weight but I know that I can’t finish losing the rest of until I start moving again. If you want some great tips then funmail me. I’ll tell you what I did to lose 70 pounds.

Only by consuming less calories than you expend can you lose weight. Look at the link below for information on how to successfully lose weight. You can also check the bmi calculator on the site to see where you stand.

well, cut out any soda and most sugars. do you drink lattes? go to black coffea and fat free, sugar free if you must use creamer. (although I have heard sugar free is terrible for you too…) drink lots of water. try to eat lots of fresh green vegis. try not to eat fast food. control portions and try to walk everywhere instead of driving. control alcohol… beer has tons of carbs hard liqor has tons of sugar. um…excersise when you can…think cardio. jazzercise is fun!!! if you like that sort of thing. doesn’t your college have a weight room? use it if so!!! hope that helps.
