is £17,000 a lot to make in a year?

Answer #1

For a teenager yes, for an adult…nope not at all…your gonna struggle to pay bills majorly.

Answer #2

Agreed, it’s not much, but you need to consider your area and expenses. For example, a single person living in my village would be living high on the hog with that amount every year, but get dependents or move to the city and you’re toast.

Answer #3

for your age my lil sweetheart thats a gd wage.. but my mom got a raise a few weeks ago and is now on £51,000 a year.. what im saying is, is if you like it stick with with it and get the rewards ;)

Answer #4

Well that’s about $25,610 and I pulled in $22,000 before taxes right now and do ok. Although I do rent a room to a friend so my house payments and utilities are 1/2 :D.

Answer #5

btw the cost of living compared to the wages isn’t that great around here. Cost of living is rather i guess….

Answer #6

*is rather high I need an edit button :P

Answer #7

If you’re making that much…then great. If your parents are trying to raise a family on it…it’s not good.
