I met my boyfriend when i was 15, theres 14 years difference. My sister tried grassin me up to my mum. We dont speak now!

I agree with Jeremy. But I suggest perhaps talking to your sister about this. Perhaps this is some sort of misunderstanding, or it not as it seems. Perhaps it is, I don’t know. I think that you should try to clear things though with your sister, or tell your parents possibly.

There is no legal minimum age for getting engaged. There are minimum ages for getting married. I remember a case where a 12 year old girl got engaged to an adult but didn’t marry until she was legal age to. Nobody outside her fiance thought she was serious about her engagement but she did go through with it years later. You are in a better position than us to judge the seriousness of this engagement.

If your 15 year old sister already had relations with the 25 year old that would probably be illegal (family code varies by state but I think this would qualify as statutory anywhere). Even though the 25 year old sounds like a creep you should consider what is best for your sister as well before getting law enforcement involved.

yes they can be engaged but they cant get married until she is of age.. that is usually 17 or 18. in South carolina where i am from its 17
