A) A,D,E,C B) E,A,D,G C) A,B,C,D D) F,C,G,D
I'd also add that while the Violin, Viola, and Cello are traditionally tuned in 5ths Basses are tuned in 4ths to reduce the distance the left hand has to stretch. Basses are traditionally tuned E-A-D-G which is the opposite of violins which are G-D-A-E. The reason for this is because in an octave going up in 5ths produces the same note names as going down in 4ths (though in different octaves since they go in different directions.
When I think "in order" I think low to high or left to right (from the player) which would be G-D-A-E. Your idea of "in order" is obviously backwards in which case the answer you are fishing for is B) E-A-D-G
You couldn't ask the guitar or mandolin when you know I know them??? :) :) :) :) This is a conpiracy! I'll guess B) EADG that's the mandolin, maybe they are the same. :)
My daughter can tell me if I'm right when she gets home, she plays the violin. I think B
