We have taking it up with her doctor and the doctor takes it away then when we aint there gives it back. The only thing you can do is call the police and report her for dr.ug abuse. I would suggest putting her in rehab, but if she doesn’t want to go you can’t make her unless the courts order her to go. Maybe you can talk to someone about putting her in a mental hospital? I am not sure how you would do that if she won’t go, or if the step dad doesn’t approve.

The stepfather obviously doesn’t see what you guys have to see, I’d look for a rehab facility. Email them or visit them, or call them when nobody is around. You guys shouldn’t have to see that, especially her son. That doctor isn’t a very good doctor if they know she abuses her scripts and gives them to her anyways. Find a new doctor.

In a situation like this, you can have her involuntarily committed for abusing substances. Here’s a site that tells you how to go about doing it, step by step (just remove the space between the www. and the site)

www. ncids.org/Other%20Manuals/Commitment%20Manual/Ch%203%20-%20Sub%20Abuse.pdf

And what do you mean her doctor gives her back the dr.ugs she is abusing? You can threaten to call the medical board for that. Actually forget the threatening. Call the medical board and file a complaint.
