the laptop i have is a Dell Latitude E6400. sometimes, the mouse pointer becomes a spiral. I don't get what it does :S what is it for?

Answer #1

im guessing you use a custom mouse pointer (prob a dell own made 1) and the spiral means ‘loading’ ;)

Answer #2

check the mouse settings because you Can change them on most computers/laptops

Answer #3

im not sure if its loading.. :S cuz it shows when i drag horizontally (at the bottom of the mouse pad) AND then drag up (to the left side of the mouse pad). and it has another variation too, a clockwise spiral. :S i dont know if it has a use.

Answer #4

Perhaps you’re making it dizzy with all that dragging, lol…I can’t find any info online about this, but I do agree that it has to be a custom pointer….the purpose is still unknown.

Answer #5

LOL that’s prolly it. dizzy pointer. haha

Answer #6

It’s most likely a custom theme for mouse pointers invented by Dell put there by default. Seeing as you have XP(I can tell by the down menu), you can go to Start>Control Panel>Mouse>Pointers>Scheme.

Depending if you have classic view of Control Panel or not, it may harder or easier to get to. Hope this helped you. :)

Answer #7

start - control panel - mouse.. within you change your pointer lol

Answer #8

if only you could change men as easy?

Answer #9
