I was under the impression that this was an advice website. Why are so many individuals posting the most random useless things?

LOL…I wonder the same thing when I go to Facebook….I guess I”m just not a “personal updater”, I figure who in the heck cares…if I took a bath, walked the dog, or hubby is home today.

It used to be purely for advice, which was why I liked it, but now they are trying to compete with sites like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc.

When you make something open, its hard to force users to do things your own way when they want to do it another way.

For better or worse, our audience are mainly teenagers. We embrace that rather then telling them to go away.

welcome to the new format of FA

i think its nice that there are 2 sections.. the questions and the status messages and it’s also really nice that they are separate cuz sometimes you might not be in the mood to see both on one day but i also just recently joined and it was already in this format so i don’t know anything else. The other thing is sometimes it’s nice to share a status message here rather than on facebook because anyone can view it whereas there the system is more based on who are your friends.. what if you just wanted a random comment from someone you didn’t know? someone who thinks outside of the way your friends think? i think this is refreshing and i am all about broadening horizons and change.. change is good.. i think it’s good Ericson.
