Embrace feelings and positive thoughts, get rid of things and burdens
I am sure there are many many things around you. You haven't even touched them for months. Or years. Even, I can imagine you not seeing them. Actually they are around you without noticing them. These are the things from which you have to get rid of first. I am moving now, to a new, smaller apartment. So this is the time for me to choose: what I want into my new home? What I want to be part of my life? What is that I really need? I really use...? And what are the things which are only there with me because long ago I thought I need them? But as it turned I do not need/touch/see them at all.
So, now you know that you have too many possessions. Everything around you ca be judged. Souvenirs, furniture, pillows, candles, clothes, rugs, slippers, everything. Your task is to make four groups, observing each and every thing: 1. You use it (touch) every day, or at least one a week. You probably will need that stuff, that was the easy part.
Maybe it was long, maybe it was hard, maybe it took a lot of time, but, finally, you are here. Less burden, less things to surround you, more space for your emotional and mental growth, clean space for good vibes.
Imagine that you are going to a one-week adventure. You travel abroad, you will live in hostels, you will bike and hike a lot. But you will eat out and also will get a tan on the beach. What do you have in your backpack? Yes. Compare it to your belongings which are at home.
