Recently I was asked by a woman of state regarding her austin dwi lawyer. I was not in a position to clear her question. Because I had very little knowledge on law and attorny that to austin dwi which I basically do not anything. Even the basic of these three words, austin dwi lawyer what does it mean. What the full form of the word dwi? Is the austin name of some place. Of course the question which that woman asked me is this "Should she plead not guilty or try for deferred adjudication?” Now please any legal adviser to answer this question or any austin dwi lawyer?3 Answers

I have a friend that took off from his house last night because him and his brother got into it and then his parent jumped in and ... Well long story short "He's gone". He doesn't know if it'll be for good or just for a enough time so he can get a "breather" (as he calls it). I'm worried about his mom getting the law involved and trying to pick him up from my house or something. I can see where he's coming from but my question is can the law come after a 17 year old runaway?2 Answers

I am almost 16 and my parents are very strict. They got very mad at me a couple months ago, and now they made me quit my job, and the only place I can go is school. They don't speak to me unless neccessary, and when I was being punished, my Dad told me that if I broke the rules, he was going to "beat me until I am black and blue, and throw me in juvenile detention." Also, he read a letter I wrote after I put it in the mailbox (he took it out and opened it). Now I can't even sent letters. I only have my computer because its for school. My boyfriend of almost a years want to hlep me, and his mom loves me. She wants me to move in with her, but I don't want my parents to put me in juvenile if I get caught running away. Is there a way she can get legal custody of me with out there permission, or can I be emancipated at 16 if my plans and 'financial security' involve living with her? Please help, somebody!4 Answers
Juvenile justice is the area of criminal law applicable to persons not old enough to be held responsible for criminal acts.In most states in the US, the age for criminal culpability is set at 18 years.
Do you think that young juvenille delinquints should be given adult punishment or do you think it is okay to give them special treatment and less harsh consequences.17 Answers

I have a hard time believing that they're not campaigning based on the roots of the party I grew up with - you know, state rights, small federal government, fighting for the little guy against massive federal cr@ptacular programs, etc. Now they're reduced to xenophobic, insane proclamations of doom and impractical claims...do these guys have any clue what Americans even want?6 Answers

Is anyone else irritated by the fact that it isn't socially acceptable or "normal" for a homosexual to refer to their "significant other" as a "boyfriend" or "girlfriend?"
Someday, I will be married (whether the law acknowledges it or not) and then whoever I am with (likely Roger) will be my "husband," not my "life partner" and he will become so through a "marriage," not a "civil partnership."

My boyfriend is currently in jail. When he was 17 he got pulled over and was taken to the department on juvenile justice. He was given a ticket, but he didnt know he had one because he was arrested at the same time. Later a warrant was out for his arrest. He turned himself in 2weeks later and now he has to sit in jail until his court date on the 17th of May. His charge is for no valid drivers license with a 500$ bond. This is a 2nd degree misdeanor. He also has something on his record still for when he was 17 by the department of juvenile justice. We cannot bail him out because he has that on his record. He has also missed court before. What is most likely to happen? Will the judge give him jail time, a fine, probation, or house arrest? This is only a second degree misdemeanor and he can only spend up to 60 days in jail or either have a 500$ fine. Will anything else be added because of the issue he has unresolved with the department on juvenile justice?

Ok, I'll get right to the point. I want to know how can I get out of the house at 17? The reason I want to leave is because my parents send me to placements when there are conflicts in the house. Mostly over yelling and cursing. I have never hit or attempted to hit my parents. But I have a full time job making about $200 a week. I need a resolution to get me out of the house earlier.2 Answers
Hi, we live in Florida and my friend is in jail right now because someone stole some stuff and blamed it on him. I know he didn't do anything wrong. They have no proof because all the hand prints were wiped off of everything. My friend is very young and has never been in trouble with the law before, and has no previous record. He went to jail recently, and went to court yesterday and and the person who actually committed the crime had all his family to lie for him, and say that my friend did it. They are asking to give my friend 5 years in jail now. He goes back to court in a week. My friend has been falsely charged felony. What do you think is going to happen? How much time do you think someone can get considering the circumstances? I'm really sad and confused, so please only answer if you're experienced with this type of situation in some way.5 Answers

I have had words with this gentelman on more then one occasion and have told him to stop calling because he is starting to get demanding and rude. He has even harased my 20 year old daughter. My question is this , I own this house not my son, so does he have the right to be rude and call and call our number if I have nothing to do with anything my son owes or his credit? In the Duke case - 88 members of the Duke arts and science faculty--the so-called Gang of 88--signed a public statement praising campus demonstrators who had distributed a "WANTED" poster that branded the lacrosse players as "rapists." The Gang of 88 didn't use that term, but its statement referred to "what happened to this young woman." Ignoring calls to wait for the evidence, the gang instead went into full social-justice gear - what do you think the odds are ANY of them will issue an apology ?6 Answers
