“Woosha” is a popularized bastardization of the extremely obscure Polynesian term “Wushalo,” a name with very spiritual, almost religious connotations, much like the proto-Polynesian terms of “Aloha” and “Mahalo” most commonly known to Westerners from Hawaii.

Wushalo, however, lends to a much darker term. In the ancient ways of the Polynesian peoples, Wushalo was a curse upon all things living, a curse so unspeakable and so unmentionable that it was said to have been confined to the written word, for fear of it’s utterance; this explains the initial Polynesian fear of English manuscript.

According to legend, those that utter the term “Wushalo,” and their cousin terms in many other Polynesian-based cultures, speaks a curse upon themselves, and that in the coming months, atrocities and unspeakable horrors will be enacted upon themselves and those they love, ending in total insanity. The indigenous peoples wished such unspeakable horrors upon their invasive Western settlers, and so taught the word to their leaders. It passed on, throughout the generations, until it finally became dormant somewhere in the 18th and 19th centuries. Then, by some bizarre phenomenon, it made a come-back in the Will Smith movie “Bad Boys.”

If you have invoked the horrors of Woosha, please, make peace with your gods at once, for nothing can save you; you are marked for the greatest suffering any of the human race have ever felt. Will Smith’s acting career will slowly dribble into nonsensical dramas like “Seven Pounds,” and the universally despised “Hancock,” and soon his skin will bubble and melt. And soon, you, too, dear reader, will feel such horrible suffering. May you find death, before Woosha finds you!
