How to become a psychologist?

hey I’m 13, and I think I might want to be a psychologist. it seems like the perfect job for me. can anyone tell me how many years you have to go to college to be a phycologist (and any other info on that you might have)?

Answer #1

My wife got her degree in psychology in a regular four year degree. She is now going on to be a therapist, but now that is another 2 years for the master’s degree and another year for the licensing in California which has the longest requirement. Some states this extra year is only around a few months.
