Why do people follow Stereotypes so much?

Its unfortunate but people like to stereotype because it’s convenient…

why spend the time actually getting to know a strange person when you can just stereotype them & there you go, all done!

If there were less people that were stereotype, as well as racists, sexists and so forth… I think the world would be a better place for all!

You know what I think is interesting about it? Although some (probably most) people think it’s very annoying, some actually like it. I think it’s because they’ve found a way to make them feel like they fit in to the environment around them… they “belong”. Well idk, at least for school stereotypes I see that. I guess it just depends on what the stereotype is and its coresponding reputation. =)

Because a persons mind says oh they are doing this, why dont i? But i think without it our world wouldn’t be the way it is today. Most people think that if you follow a certain dress or the way you do your hair you will get noticed and it all comes down to attention and self esteem.

i live like 10 mins away from birmingham and it just doesnt happen in birmingham people are quick to stereotype because they start to judge people by the way look or act personally i think people stereotype to make them self feel better :/
