Dogs tend to get a little nervous or anxious just a day or so before giving birth. They normally don’t eat as much and will begin to nest in her bedding. Give her a quiet place,family flow to have her babies and if possible sit with her to help if she needs it. Also their temp does rise a little, but I don’t think they really like getting a thermometer stuck up their rear. I’d watch for signs of agitation and nesting.
