Is the word/name "slut" or "slag", etc., a name of a stereotype?

Well sterotype is excluding a certain group or person by race. So pretty much it’s just giving someone a really mean and bad title. Or I could be wrong XD I knowledge isn’t all that….

no its not a stereotype but it is an insult. Stereotypes are calling people emo, preps, goths, nerds, saying all blondes are dumb ect. Stereotypes lump a bunch of people into one catergory because the way they dress,act, look, race, or religion. So i suppose slut can be a stereotype if but im not so sure about slag

a slag means prostitute, if you like, and a slut is the same.

its an insult but it can be an unharmful insult too ;)

for argument sake me and my mate was playing a game, i accidentally shot him and he called me a slag.

its the same with words like tosser and wanker, as long as its said in the right way dont need to be hurtful.

I would say because putting a label on somebody. I also agree that its an insult at the same time.
