How can I remove my permenant hair colour at home

I coloured my hair black a few years ago(I was originally light brown) and kept topping it up when needed but now I want to go back to my original colour and I really dont want to go to the hairdressers. I have not coloured my hair in about 10 months and the black is fading slowly but I really want it out now. Please help

They have a couple of hair dyes made for “dark hair to go light” you can use obne of those with a no brass or no red packet, sold at beauty stores. That wil eliminate the orange color.

I have been a hairsalon owner and operator for over 20 years, and I can tell you no amount of any color will lighten hair colored black. Color does not lighten color!!! The only way to lighten perm. hair color is to hilite it or bleach it, and depending on your hair and how much lighter you want to go that may not work either. Either cut it out or let it grow out. I would really suggest you see a professional, and dont forget you get what you pay for. Good Luck db

alright, then wash your hair with warm water, then shampoo it with any type of shampoo you want, then after doing that for a few days, (not everyday, wash one day, then not the next, then again the next day), and then dye your hair when its dry with not products in it, including any types of leave in conditionaires, and it should be good with one dye job, if not, then do it again in a week.

so if I put in a light colour, like a brown my hair wont go orange or anything lol

I love the title to this, how to remove PERMENANT hair color…hehehe…it will only fade, you can’t get it all out with just shampoo and conditionairs alone, just redye it a ligter color then what you want, I’d recommend a light brown, I had that happen to me and I used a cinnamon stick color, from herbel essences. now my hair looks the same as it was before, only leave the dye in for 8 minutes though, or else it’ll get to light. Good Luck :]

Answer #6

Answer #7
