how “advanced” do you think food will be 50-60 years from now? how will it affect our society?
End world hunger, due to it being more plentiful, disease resistant, etc. Able to grow in harsher conditions, survive for longer, and maybe even make you healthier…and not make you fat :)
That would be cool. Eventually, we’ll get there…might take longer than 50-60 years though, but I’m sure it’ll be like that eventually.
I think the opposite of Thedude actually, for America anyways, I think growers will be more interested in hybrids and “better tasting” or “WAY BIGGER” that they will let the toxins get deeper and deeper into the American diet, we get fatter as a country every year, eventually it will hit an all time high and revert back, in which case I assume or diets WILL become as Thedude says, but only after the big-wigs learn a lesson or two.
