911 poem

this poem is called 911 and I wrote it in 8th grade.

This once was a great city, now I look at families who have lost one another with pity.

Some died because they had no where to go, others died a hero.
Some where stuck inside, others got out alive.
Some jumped to escape the flames, but perished just the same
Others waited but no help came.
I look back at that horrible attack, I cant help but cry when I think of all those who died.
Children berried beneath the rubble, when those towers fell and crumbled.
We remember those who died by having a memorial outside.
I hope the people who died enjoy heaven, but most importantly I hope they enjoyed life!!!

Written to remember those who died that day
                                    -911-
