Grenada is a group of three larger islands (Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique) and several tiny islands in the Caribbean, or West Indies. It lies just northeast of Trinidad and Tobago, and southwest of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Carriacou is the second-largest island in the Caribbean nation of Grenada. It is considerably smaller than the island of Grenada, being only 13 square miles.
Hillsborough is the main town on Carriacou in Grenada. Although there are no luxury hotels, there are guesthouses, the locals are friendly, rates are cheap and the beaches are uncrowded and beautiful.
Petit Martinique is a small and lightly populated (less than 1,000) volcanic island in the Caribbean nation of Grenada. It has limited tourist facilities.
