What are your religious veiws?

I’m a free Unitarian with the wounderful ability to beleive what I want to beleive.

I have many, but the most important is that my view is not more valid or more important than the view of the person next to me.

Personally, I don’t believe in God, or any higher power. I think the Bible was made to be sort of a rulebook for life, and God was made to scare people into following the bible (not doing anything bad), by saying if they did…they would go to hell. I believe in making my own choices, making my own mistakes, and basically doing what I want. I will decide what is wrong or right. I have a conscious. I am not going to be told I am going to hell, because I made a mistake…or I done something that I didn’t think was wrong. I don’t believe in any afterlife. I believe that when we die, we just die. I believe religion is just something that some people to need for hope, and reassurance. People argue over religion all of the time, and I think it is stupid…people try to force their religion down other peoples throats and tell them that they are going to hell.

I’m Wiccan with a phobia of Christians [cos of ongoing persacution and godamn preaching from them.] But I say, be what you want cos it’s your life!

im a christian. i don’t understand how you couldn’t think there is a higher power or God. look around you. look at how amazing everything is. the oceans the mountains and skies. how everything is perfectly matched up just right. look at yourself in the mirror. your a miracle. how all of your DNA is just the way it is. how your body works so perfectly. how couldn’t there be a God? If you read the bible the things that are prophesied are still coming true today. read revelation. it’s amazing.

my belief is that God created the world from nothing, came to earth in His human form as Jesus, died and rose again for our sins, and will soon conquer Satan for all eternity. im a non-demoninational christian, never gonna be ashamed to say that, and i love God w all my heart and more. i try every day not to sin on purpose, but of course i fail, but i believe in a loving, and forgiving Lord who understand what its like to be tempted and who knows that i will fail. i am human, after all. i belive that in order for us to go to Heaven, we need to place our lives in His hands, and give Him control. get rid of ourselves, and let Him live through us. beg forgivness from Him, and live for Him, and for Him alone.
i also believe that God doesnt really want youto have a religion, but for you to have a relationship. personally, ive thrown religion out the window and embraced a relationship instead. yeah, i follow the rules in the Bible and i go to an organized church and their sevices, but only bcuz they also believe in relationship instead of religion.

it seems to me that we were created to live in a better world, without the huge ammount of suffering we face every day

What church is that?

i beleive about half of that. yes god created the earth out of nothing, he came as jesus and died on the cross. i beleive that when they couldn’t find his body, it was because he had turned back into god. i think he wants to build us to be strong, so we can walk on our own. he punishes us for the bad things (not all of them, he understands that we are human) and rewards us for the good.
