What Convinces You

I’m just sitting here enjoying all manner of Christian Rock/hip hop and enjoying the presence of the Lord and it came to me; am I not convinced of my faith in very large part because “I sense” His presence in every area of my life? I choose to ask Him to permeate it and He/She does. Without “feeling” the closeness, all the reading and studying might not suffice for me. I remember surrendering to the idea of “letting Him in” I didn’t realize how personal and direct the contact would become. He directs my thoughts and actions, because I am convinced it is meant to be. I Am clay. He/She the “Potter”. Life circumstances, relationships,education,music are all tools for communication. I see with different eyes. I hear clearly. I am convinced by the love I feel for every living soul that YHVH is truth. Do you “feel” Him too? If so, how? What convinces you that you are In His/Her presence? Do you gravitate to GOD? Is He your number One love/relationship?

I agree totally that his presence makes all the difference. I now feel complete, and never alone. I regret living the first 1/2 of my life, just for me, however, I suppose it took that to get me where I am today, and I would not trade it for anything.

BTW… its very nice to know you feel that way…

What convinces me that there is a God is that back in 99 I was in an accident that quite literally cost me my life and I was under for six minutes before being revived, but I returned to the land of the living after the doctors assumed they couldn’t revive me and were pulling the sheet over my head. My girlfriend at the time saw the entire thing and told me about it afterwards.
