kissing someone that smokes effects me also?

I have asthma and my girl smokes and if I kiss her would that hurt me?

It won’t hurt you to kiss her. It’ll only taste really bad. Smoking has a tendency to cause bad breath.

If you’ve got asthma and she knows you do you two have to make a compromise. There’s nothing you can do really. She, on the other hand, can do something. If you two have strong feelings and you think you’re going to be together a while she has to either cut back (depending on how often she smokes) or quit. Otherwise this relationship won’t work out completely. You can try to make it work but as long as she smokes she’ll carry that smell and, sometimes, the smoke along with her which can cause you to have an asthma attack. Not fun.

Talk to her and see if you two can come to an agreement. Good luck. :)

Cigarette smoke leaves an oily residual on skin and clothing. Not only kissing her but touching her could cause problems depending on how bad your asthma is. Is it well controlled and you rarely use your emergency inhaler! Or do you use your ER inhaler often AND use a preventative inhaler every day as well. Basically, it comes to how well controlled you are. BUT, even if your asthma rarelý bothers u. you could end up having problems more frequently. Sorry! ]=
