About how many calories a day should a 18 yr old female intake??
it definitely depends on if you're sedimentary (lazy.. :) ), average active, or if you are active a lot. with sedimentary it's 1,200-1,500 calories a day. Average 1,500-1,800 and if you're very active 1,800-2,500 calories a day. It really also depends on how tall and your build. And if you want to lose, maintain, or gain weight. You adjust your calorie intake, by all those factors. But you have to watch out for "diet" foods. Which are not good for you. I'd stick to healthy. organic, low fat alternantives. but watch out for the sodium in low fat snacks. (I'd stick with granola, yogurt, smoothies, fruit, and veggies.) treat yourself every once in a while.
Well it depends more on how tall, how much exercise and daily activities you do. you cant really tell someone how much to eat unless they know everything about you. All I recommend is dont eat under 1200 cal. or you could have problems. You may not see them now but you will.
