Is someone able to bring you your school work while you're in rehab?

That’s none of your business. I’m asking specific questions about rehab and if you dont have answers please don’t comment.

I know that some rehabs have schools inside them. and you are allowed visitors. and it depends on what you are going in for i know when i go to rehab this summer i won’t be allowed to have a book or a phone or anything(cause apparentlyly i can make a sharp thing with it and cut myself) and i think you can wear regular clothes in rehab.

The questions were entirely relevant and your attitude is entirely unnecessary. An adult is unlikely to be allowed to bring college school material into rehab as the focus is treatment. If the child is younger and could be stuck in treatment for several months, school work is probably part of the program. And treatment facilities for eating disorders are not the same thing as treatment facilities for dr.ugs and will have different rules. Again, her question being entirely on topic.

When I ask a question like this, I don’t expect people to demand why I’m asking the question. I except only answers relating to my questions and not “why are you in rehab, what grade are you in.” and then the person tells me they’re gonna pray for me when all I wanted was simple answers to some simple questions.

I don’t hate you!:) I just get frustrated when people ask questions on my questions if it’s a simple question that only requires a straight forward answer. haha. And these were my own questions, not anybody else’s on funadvice, so I don’t think you misread anything.

Did you actually read anything I said, or did you simply start to defend yourself? The questions were relevant because different facilities have different rules for different reasons (thus it actually NOT being a simple question). I basically did not repeat the question because she’d already stated it. Now again, what exact type of rehab are you going to, and maybe you’ll get the answer to whether you can take stuff in. In eating disorder clinics they may actually provide clothes due to clothing size being very often tied to the disorder. That is not very likely in a dr.ug rehab. Either place, forget about sneaking stuff in. If it’s a different type of rehab, and you’d care to enlighten us, we may have more specific answers. If you’re able to sneak a book in, then other people are likely to be able to sneak dr.ugs and self-harm implements. So that is unlikely regardless.

It’s a rehab for eating disorders. I think it’s teenagers only.

yes, most rehab’s will allow a person to do school work or continue their education..

if the rehab is for teenagers then you definately will have a pplace to continue school work i would think.
