Simply a Rose to brighten your day,         And maybe lessen the cares in your way;         And also, too, to help you to know,         That in knowing you, many others grow!

Refusing to eat and only drinking water will not help you lose weight in any healthy way. It signals your body to conserve so it slows down its metabolism. Then, when you get back to normal eating, it restores fat as fast as possible.

How to LOSE weight?

First, determine from the information below, what your weight should be. Then set yourself goals of a week, 2 weeks, a month, 3 months, 6 months and a year. As you see yourself meeting your goals it becomes easier. Remember, you didn’t gain your weight overnight so don’t expect to lose if overnight. Plus, weight lost slowly is more likely to stay off than weight lost in a hurry.

If you need conversion info, 1 kg = 2.2 pounds and 2.54 cm = 1 inch (12 inches = 1 foot)

“How can I Lose 1 pound of body weight per week?”

One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.

But it’s not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.

“What should a minimum calorie intake be?”

As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.

Another thing that helps to lose weight is to always eat a good breakfast. That helps to jump start your metabolism which helps start burning calories. Also, try to drink 8 eight ounce glasses of water every day. One before every meal (except breakfast) and before all snacks. That helps curb your appetite which helps reduce caloric intake.

EAT HEALTHY. don’t go anerexic or anything, but watch what you eat. for one day right down EVERYTHING you eat. be specific. how many pretzels did you grab out of the bag? how many fruit snacks were in that pouch? writing things down helps you realize that you are eating way more than necessary.

then the next day, carry your list around with you. maybe just stick it in your pocket as a little reminder. that way when you are searching the cabinets for a snack you’ll realize you aren’t really that hungry.

if you really want to get into write down where and why you are eating. is it true hunger or meer boredome or stress?? finding out where can help you avoid it. for example: do you always eat when watching tv? next time you sit down in front of the tube you’ll be a little wiser.

swimming burns LOADS of calories. :] remember how hungry you always are after swimming? yeah, that’s why.

HOPE THIS HELPS!! :] feel confident, okay babe?

Well, first of all the worst thing is to stop eating cause your body never knows when you will eat again and then it automatically stores the fat. I would eat more often just try not to eat carbohyrades or junk foods. Drink a lot of water to help your complexion and help you feel full and lots of fresh fruits and vegies. I don’t think you have a eating disorder I just think you are gaining more weight but not eating enough. Please check out this website:
www.youmeworks.com/whylowcarb.html You will learn all about low carb dieting. I promise and just try to stay active and stop focusing so much energy on your weight and do it right! Don’t get depressed your not that far away from 150, then 140, then 130 and finally 125! Angelslove feelings and thoughts

You seem to be developing bullemia/anorexia nervosa. These are very serious disorders and effect you physically and mentally to the point where weight loss and your body becomes very physically ill from lack of food. I think that you should speak to your family or a responsibly adult about everything you feel (worry intensely about weight)/have done (not eating and vomiting) and go to a doctor explaining these things. If they professionally think that you do have an eating disorder they will refer you to people who are trained to help people in your situation. I know it sounds dramatic but you really need to get help before it takes over your life completely. Recovery is not half as bad or hard as I thought it would be and has helped me so much.
