what helps you when you feel really down about yourself?
do something crazy and stupid(not illegal, but something kinda "duh") it's a crazed way to cheer you up, but it might work watch comedy perhaps or you can listen to music, hang out with friends or even pets or even, dare I say, chocolate, it's a naterual anti depressant(though since you're trying t vear away from it, I wouldn't recomend it then) best of luck dear
acutally I think hanging out with friends when your down on your luck or you feel down. I found out talking and hanging with friends helps a lot
