I agree with laxbro... The reason that it hurts is because you are rubbing your tail bone area on a hard surface over and over again. There is little padding over that area and it can bruise easily! Use a mat or some other type of soft surface to do sit ups on :)
Ur doing them on a hard surface and try other types btw sit ups don't help do abnormal ones and other core stuff the normal ones are the worst kind
yes if you're on a hard or rough surface.. this used to happen to me.. lay on a blanket/pillow something soft when you do the exercises
