What's a solstice?

i’m watching it on the news?

Answer #1

do u mean A solstice?

Answer #2

Well, a solstice is an event that happens twice a year when the sun reaches its southernmost or northernmost extreme. A socialist is a person who follows and believes in a bunch of different stuff involving politics and economics. If you want to know more about either of these, id recommended just googling it or wait until one of the all-knowing members come on to answer your question.

Answer #3

I think Diana means solstice too, as today (21st Dec), we celebrate the winter solstice. That means it is the shortest day in the year. This link will explain it to you.

[link removed] Here in the UK we have also had a lunar eclipse this morning, sadly I wasn’t up to see it :(
