I know me and my husband should have done it before we had her...
but we just didnt get to it because we just moved in and were working on getting us in the house.
so now she is 2 weeks old. and we're planning to paint her room this weekend.
and suggestions on colour schemes?
I don't have a baby, but I think if I did - I'd make her room maybe a soft yellow. or for him - maybe a soft green. I think pinks and blue are used a lot and I'd like it to be a little different.
My cousin had a boy and the ceiling and top part of the walls were sky blue with clouds and then it had a border from the half of the wall down and it was wood.
It looked good. But you can look online and search for some idea.
Good Luck with Everything (:
dont do it just colours.. do things like winnie the pooh mikey and minnie mouse
you could do bottom half light green(grass) and top half light blue(sky) and just plonk some of winnies friends on one wall cinderela on another wall it will look dead good!! it will be like a park inside!! she would love it! x
My daughters room is pink and 2 walls have wallpaper that has ballet slippers (purple ones) with pink ribbons, the background is white. Then she has framed pictures of little girl dancers on her walls and a pair of my old ballet slippers hanging in her room. Very girlie and sweet.
I kept my sons in neutral colours even though I knew he was a boy!. I had creams and whites, Cream walls with the odd winnie the pooh transfer on the walls. It looks cute though!
pink and purple are adorable!!! like pastel kind of pink and purple... love it
