How can I not eat for a week?

My question is kind of complicated… I don’t want to be anorexic, but I feel like I already am. I just want to not eat for like a week to get down to my goal weight (106) and then from there work on eating healthy and working out. I try to now, but the results are too slow and just not working. I feel like once I get down to 106, I’ll be happier with my body and want to keep it in shape, so I will work out and eat right. But, I need help with my one week of starvation. Also, I am aware that one week of starvation isn’t healthy, but I feel like it will help me be healthy in the long run. I know once I reach 106, I will be ecstatic and want to show off my body. I’m hoping the one week of starvation will eat all my fat, so I can work on working out and getting muscle. So, basically, I need help from you guys on how to not eat for a week!!

Hi,

I don’t think you understand that bulimia and anorexia are both psychological conditions. You don’t MAKE yourself either of those things–they are diseases of the mind. They aren’t substitutes for healthy diet and exercise, which WILL help you lose weight.

Instead, it will slow down your metabolism, making it harder to lose weight. Eventually, anorexia and bulimia will demineralize teeth. Your teeth may become sensitive to heat, cold, and acids. Eventually, your teeth may severely decay, erode away from fillings, and finally fall out. Sexy, huh?

Your blood potassium levels can drop significantly with regular vomiting or use of certain diuretics. This can disturb your heart’s rhythm and even produce sudden death.

Salivary glands may swell because of infection and irritation from the vomit. You may at some point suffer from stomach ulcers and bleeding and tears in your esophagus. Constipation may result from frequent laxative use.

When bulimic episodes occur over time, a sequence of chronic illnesses can occur affecting your heart, liver, gastrointestinal tract, and/or neurologic complications.

The way to lose weight is through healthy diet and exercise. Eat 4-6 SMALL meals a day, consisting of lean meats, whole-grain starches, fruits and vegetables. Set up your plate so 1/4 is meat, 1/4 is starch, 1/2 is fruit and veggies, and there is minimal fat.

If you do this as well as drink 8 glasses of water a day and exercise for 30 min a day a few times a week, you will see healthy results.

Good luck.

mandycats is right. In that week you’re going to loose more muscle than fat (causing a phenomenon known as “”skinny-fat””) Which is also pretty counterproductive because for every pound of muscle you have you burn 50 calories just to sustain in (you don’t even have to DO anything).

It’s really unhealthy. You want to get rid of FAT not WEIGHT. You want to be “”healthy”” not “”skinny””

prkswllflwr sets out a great plan for you. It’s pretty much the basics of a healthy diet I follow called the ABs Diet. You can find a book for it at wal-mart. The Abs Diet lays out the most efficient diet and exercise plan to get you fast - but HEALTHY results.

What’s the use of being thin or “”skinny”” if you’re sick or dead? You won’t have much time to show off that body from a hospital bed.

you dont have to starve yourself to get the results your looking for…just diet properly get up and exercize …the truth is ..that week that you starve yourself it wont just eat fat but it will eat your muscle too…when people starve themselfs it has been proven that you loose more muscle buildup befor you loose all your fat…and you dont wanna loose that way it could make you sick or kill you …if you realy wanna look that good and feel good about your body then you should do it the right way instead of trying to starve yourself to loose weight because the results could be deadly or you could loose that muscle that you want and need so much…good luck and do the right thing.
