How can I make my gauge go in my ear?

I’m currently trying to stretch my ear to a size 2 ear gauge, but it won’t go in. I don’t want to force it because I’m afraid I’ll rip my ear lobe. How can I make it go in easier?

get tapers. and like push it in . itll hurt because you are doing it urself. I started too but I got to scared id hurt myself and I was gunna have my boyfriend do it but we broke up cus he left for military school. so hes gunna do mine when he gets back so I dont get to scared and chicken out. but thats how I am im good with pain, just not on myself. but I used tapers and will coninue too. because I want size 4.
