According to the safety regulations of my local army force, 7 hours is just enough to keep you refreshed and re-energized . However, most people have 8 hours of sleep a day, which is just fine! But then again, amount of time to sleep is subjective to oneself. There are some people who just can't stand sleeping too little, while some people just can't seem to stay in bed! While it is to a certain extent a preference, try to keep your sleeping hours to about 7-8 hours, which is about the norm. Sleeping too much would make you over-reliant on sleep and cause yourself to become "zombie-like" if just a little sleep deprived, while sleeping too little might cause yourself some insomnia in the long run. Hope this helps!
7 hours a night is generally the healthiest.
Studies have shown that sleeping an hour more or less than that reduces a person's average lifespan by 2 years.
If you sleep less than that your body does not get enough rest and if you sleep more than 7 hours there is extra pressure on your heart.
The only time you need 8 hours is after a day in which you did a lot of exercise.
I believe healthy length of sleep is 8 hours every night. :)
7 to 8 hrs I do believe
