Yes it can. Honey has antibacterial properties. Although not any honey can be used. Some brands of honey add water or heat it before selling in which kills the properties of honey. Natural, fresh honey from a farm would be the most effective.
I go see one of our esthetician for dry skin and rosacea, they seem to keep me looking ok for a dude. I would say seek out a professionals advice, they can offer solutions, then from there you can self treat.
My aunt mixes honey with egg whites and rubs it on her face to keep it clear. As far as I can tell it works; I don't think I've never seen a zit on her face.
I love natural honey, but I have never stuck it on my face, or I have tried not to get it on my face. I guess sometimes I am just messy, or just a mess.
Haha it is quite sticky.
I get mine from a farm a few hours away from home fresh and it's gold. Although I don't like honey, it's an exception :P
I saw a doctor on tv use mango, sweet pototos and honey to make a great skin mask....... He sad you can even eat it!!
