I’m not a lawyer but searching the web it doesn’t look like he is guilty of statutory rape. The laws vary between the family code of different states. Missouri defines statutory rape as sex between someone who is 21 or older with some under 17. Since your BF is under 21 no worries.

No, she cant. First of all, hes not 18 so he cant get put in jail. Second of all, your 16, and your of legal age to have sex. If you were 15 JUST turning 16 they could get him for statutory rape and both of you would get put on probation. But your not, so you shouldnt have to worry about it.

This is bad because if he gets turned in then the court can also pin in on you and try to get you a punishment out of this. Like bubux said try to tell your mom this to.

wey i come from britian but i dont think its any different sinse your 16, you are legal he can only get put on the sex offenders list if he is over the age and you are under, Tell your mom that your hurt she cant trust you to have safe sex.
