Why am I not gaining weight even if I've been eating more, and more regularly?

As well I’ve been eating more proteins . Somehow, I still stand at 5”6 and 95 lbs. What could I be doing wrong?

u probably just have a very high metabolism, if it’s not working for you talk to your doctor about how you can gain the right kind of weight, they probably know more than we do :) hah good luck, and remember as long as your healthy at that weight why try to change it?

You must have really fast metabolism, I know someone like that, he eats like a pig but looks like a male model. Try weight gainers and lload up on carbs and protein

When you eat more and more reguarly, you actually will not gain more weight. When you eat less, or less frequently through out the day, your body goes into starvation mode and it stores the food, so you gain weight and it stores it because it doesn’t know the next time it’s going to get food. When you keep eating it doesn’t store it cause it has enough. Think of it this way… ( Say you have a lot of money so you don’t think about it, you just spend the money on things cause you know you have enough, but when your poor or close to broke, you hesitate to buy things or you just buy what you need so you only give a little and keep the rest ) same with this situation. And your metabolism is working faster cause your eating more.

Hi janicee you are so lucky that you are not gaining weight. Gaining weight is actually a sign of being unhealthy resulting in changing our body structure which results in bad impression. eating more and involved in more physical activities make you healthier. I am 21 and I am just 5 feet 4inch tall and 160 Kg weight. If I am eating more it results in gaining weight. Last month I weighed 166 Kgms. I am much concerned about weight gain because of my dressing style. I prefer tight jeans and pants along with short tops everytime. My dress itself is the best indicator of weight gain. I was struggling a lot to put on my jeans last month that it appeared as if it rip apart while sitting, but now it sence “just tight” only. I could put atleast four fingers inside its pockets or keep my mobile phone. Some of my dress pants have slanting hip pockets that while I am gaining weight the hip pockets tend to pull out just trying to sit or bend which is horrible to me. But now just by dieting I reduced my weight and pants are perfect to some extend. So try loosing weight. It makes you good.

Did you try some workout that will build up muscles, maybe? Not one that burns a lot of calories but one that will increase your muscle mass. Like weightlifting?

Thats just probably the way your body works. If you want to gain a healthy weight, drinking protien shakes (boost & special K’s are the best) will do the trick.

some people that have high metabolism can eat as much as they want and never gain wait not as though its a bad thing my three older brothers have it but they are sill healthy so try not to stress about it too much its normal
