The same way anyone would….excercise and healthy eating. Theres no secret to losing weight it takes hard work and dedication to your goal. If you dont like working out try more fun methods, yoga, tai chi, swimming, jogging, pilates, etc.

I would have to disagree with Jade’s response on milk shakes. Not all protein shakes are meant for females, just so you know. Some have testosterone(male sex hormone that creates an anabolic effect, muscle growth) in them, so they aren’t intended for females to drink it.

The best way to lose weight is to exercise and eat healthy. As a workout plan, I recommend you work out 45-60 minutes a day, 4-6 days a week. It’s kind of difficult to know what results you want, since losing weight can be done in many areas. For now, I’ll assume you want abs, legs, and some better toning in your chest and arms. Here’s something you can try at home:

15-min. jog(Warm up) Push Ups - 5 sets - 20/20/20/20/20(Chest, Biceps, Triceps) Bench Dips - 5 sets - Failure(Triceps, Chest) Lunges/Squats - 5 sets - 30/30/30/30/30(Quads, Hamstrings) Standing Calf Raise - 5 sets - 50/50/50/50/50(Calves) Abdominal Sit Ups - 5 sets - 50/50/50/50/50(Upper Abdominals) Reverse Crunch - 5 sets - 50/50/50/50/50(Lower Abdominals) Russian Twist Crunch - 5 sets - 50/50/50/50/50(Oblique, Middle Abs) *10-min. Run(Finish)

If you go to a gym or have equipment, I would recommend this for you:

15-min. Jog(Warm up) Squat - 5 sets - 30/30/30/30/30(Quads, Hamstrings, Back) Alt. Dumbbell Curl - 5 sets - 30/30/30/30/30(Biceps) Incline Dumbbell Press - 5 sets - 30/30/30/30/30(Chest) Leg Press - 5 sets - 30/30/30/30/30(Quads) Lat. Pulldown(Wide Grip) - 5 sets - 30/30/30/30/30(Rear Delts, Upper Lats) Lat. Pulldown(Normal Grip) - 5 sets - 30/30/30/30/30(Mid Lats) Abdominal Sit Ups - 5 sets - 50/50/50/50/50(Upper Abdominals) Reverse Crunch - 5 sets - 50/50/50/50/50(Lower Abdominals) Russian Twist Crunch - 5 sets - 50/50/50/50/50(Oblique, Middle Abs)

For non-ab workouts, rest ONLY 60-90 seconds per set. For ab workouts, rest ONLY 30-40 seconds per set. It’s good to drink water, because it dehydrates you less, but if you drink protein shakes, it’s better since it recruits those amino acids into your muscles so you have more energy. Drinking creatine or glutamine after a workout is crucial because your muscles will recover faster.

Eating Beef or turkey is better than pork because it is the same amount of protein without the fat, and it has B vitamins that help muscle recovery and it also aids in muscle fiber growth. Salmon, tuna, and peanut butter contain Omega-3, a fatty vitamin that prevents heart disease and aids in your immune system. Fruits and vegetables contain lots of C and D vitamins needed for the development of calcium in your bones and also helps acne on the skin. Try to cut down on fast food, sugars, candies, sodas because they add pounds to your body.

Eat 5-6 meals a day ranging between 200-300 calories per meal because your body will digest the foods quicker for you. Eating 3 big meals instead, that contain 800+ calories won’t let your body digest it all completely so it will be stored as fat in your body for later use. Drink lots of water because it also prevents the urge to eat.

Hope this helps.
