whats you opinion of parents hiring nannies?

Answer #1

I think that sometimes it’s necessary. So long as the nanny comes with great credentials and can be trusted, I think it’s good for parents to be able to have time away from the kids, even if that means going to work. However, I don’t approve of people who use their nannies to raise their children simply because they can’t be bothered to do it themselves.

Answer #2

i agree with you. i think its okay if its totally needed but if they have no time with their children ever then its not okay

Answer #3

Given that there is a significant percentage of women simply cannot afford to stay home world wide, I dont exactly have an opinion, it is simply the norm in many places. Where I grew up everyone had nannies, including nannies who were taking care of other people’s kids so they couldnt be at home with theirs. The roles nannies take on in the West may be slightly different though. It’s not like I was ever confused for one minute who my mother was. That concept is rather odd to me.

Answer #4

I think it’s up to them.

Answer #5

I personally would hope to stick with family and paying them, rather than hiring a nanny. I have trust issues, so I figure when I have kids of my own, they might escalate lol. I always had family babysitting me.. and I take care of my nephews sometimes when my brother has no one to watch them.
