what will happen if I skipped a day?

I am taking a birth control pill for the last 2 months, its not to proctect me from getting preg only to help make them regular, yesterday I didnt take one, with it being xmas I forgot, will this affect me in anyway? =/ xxx

Consult your leaflet. Generally the rule is that you need to take todays pill AND the one you missed yesterday together asap. It should not affect your cycle missing one day, at the worst you will get a slight amount of spotting, but that is normally if you miss a couple of days.

You should be fine. If you did use it as birth control it is wise to use extra contraception (like a condom) for 7 days as well after missing a pill, but if it is just for helping your cycle you should be fine :) If you were in the last week of you pill, it may be wise to run your next pack together with this one (as in not take a break), as this is good practice in case you ever miss one, and what is advised by most leaflets.

Maybe set an alarm on your phone so you remember to take it everyday? The implant is also soemthing to consider as an alternative if you are worried you may miss more, as you do not have to remember to take it every day then, and you get the same effects.
