what is -10 squared?

positive or negative 100? I thought positive, but my calculator says negative?

any number squared is positive…

see because if you multiply a negative number by itself, two negatives = positive if you multiply a positive number by itself = positive…

this is why the square root of a negative number is not a real number…

wasnt mocking your intelligence… some people have a tougher time at math than others (apparently you’re not one of them, but not everyone knows a number squared is always positive…), it doesnt make them stupid…
